There was a great turnout of over 30 players for this Easter Sunday event, and as in previous competitions the handicapping led to a series of close matches

After the group stages the top 4 pairs in each group advanced to a knockout competition, commencing with quarter finals. The semi finals saw 2 very competitive games with George Moverley + Claire Fuller and Colin Sladden + Trish Newton winning through to the final

The final quickly progressed to an 8-8 scoreline, and there then followed 11 services that were broken and the score remained unchanged, until eventually Colin and Trish won 4 consecutive points. The match finished 17-10 to them, but George and Claire fought all the way and some exciting rallies were played throughout
